Adopt or Foster

There are so many reasons to adopt or foster a shelter rescue animal. All of our animals at Helping PAWS Pet Rescue are in need of a second chance for a variety of reasons. By choosing to adopt, you will give one of them a new life in a loving home.

Business Supporters

Business supporters are so important to Helping PAWS Pet Rescue. Your support of our rescue work and our community programs help make our community a better place to live. When you donate to our rescue, we’ll recognize your business in a variety of ways including on our main bulletin board in our facility, and on our website and social media. By donating to Helping PAWS Pet Rescue, your business will be promoted and more animals will be rescued – it’s a win-win!

Individual Supporters

We can’t do our life saving work without the generosity of individuals like you. Your support of our rescue, either through in-kind donations or cash donations, will help keep us going and will make you feel like you made a difference – it’s a win-win!

Individual and Business Supporters: Click each tab to learn more about donation options.
These types of donations, especially made on a sustained basis, allow us to have flexible funding that we can put to our highest and best use to keep HPPR and its programs strong! We may use your donations for our community cat couple program, to care for rescued animals, to purchase supplies, to create community outreach materials, etc. These are ideal donations for us!
Donate materials or products that allow us to care for more animals. Donations of quality food, bedding, toys, cleaning products, and equipment such as kennels and litter boxes are great.

Our wish list of items that keep the rescue functioning includes:

  • Plain, unscented clumping cat litter
  • Cat toys, especially small toys like “mice”
  • Tunnel toys
  • Dish sponges
  • Baby wipes
  • Bulk organic catnip (available at Chequamegon Co-Op)
  • Fromm food (dog/cat)
  • Instinct food (canned cat)
  • Food puzzles
  • Food toys
Colonies of homeless cats endanger wildlife and can pose potential health risks to the community. Euthanizing these cats is not only inhumane, it is ineffective. For a $100 donation, you will enable us to spay/neuter one “community” cat couple.

If you don’t have the time or space to foster, how about sponsoring a kennel in Country Care Pet Hospital’s front lobby, where Helping PAWS Pet Rescue is located? A donation of $350.00 will provide room and board and basic medical care for a dog or cat at our facility for one year. Your generosity will be recognized with a small sign on the front kennels in our lobby. We welcome co-sponsorships too!

Additional Business Support Options: Click each tab to learn more about donation options.
A donation box located near your check-out counter will give your patrons an opportunity to donate to Helping PAWS and will show your commitment to our community. A volunteer will collect the donations at least once per month.

Fostering a furry “employee” within your store or office will give them an opportunity to showcase their charm and will help them find a home. We ask for a foster commitment of at least two weeks.

Allow your staff to come in and volunteer. Just a couple of hours per week can be a big help, especially in the morning or late afternoon during feeding time. Volunteering will raise awareness about your business, enhance your employee’s skills, raise morale and help to build a stronger community.
